She rose to fame internationally in the role of Mia Colucci on the Mexican TV show Rebelde. In addition, she is also an active member of the Latin Grammy award-winning pop group RBD. Anahi was born Marichelo Portilla on May 14th 1983 was the daughter of Enrique Puente (Spanish father) and Marichelo Puente (Mexican mother). Also, she has one half-sister Diana Puente.
