Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian singer-songwriter. Her catalog includes more than 20 albums. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk as well as alternative rock, but it has additional elements of punk, funk, hip hop and jazz. Ani Difranco has been deemed to be a feminist legend as well as a Grammy award-winning. As one of women's first artists of the 90s, she founded her own label. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father was Italian origin and her mother was from Montreal. 32 Flavors was a track that was written by as well as performed by Ani DiFranco. Ani DiFranco rose to famous status as a singer/songwriter as well as punk/folk around the age of 25 both with critics and fans, with Not A Pretty Girl.
