Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of the award-winning coverage by CNN of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. She also spent time in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as the negotiations for raising the ceiling on federal debt and super committee discussions. As an assignment reporter for general assignments, she has covered stories such as those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 as well as the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. She was appointed an CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007.
