Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1960) is an American writer and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. In the past, she was an associate professor of Law University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer for the National Public Radio's radio program and The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning show as well as hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985, she was awarded the Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She worked as an NPR legal reporter. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. Between 2001 and 2017 Wiehl was an attorney analyst at Fox News.
