Coleman is from Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl, and she received all As on her A level exams. When discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman acknowledged regrets having not gone to university. Coleman worked with a group called In Yer Space at her school. The group was in the stage production Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. The play also got a positive reception. Coleman was awarded the award with an award for her exceptional performance. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while trying out for drama classes in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two prizes. In 2007 Coleman was nominated to win two awards, The British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. The award was presented to her for Best Actress, Sexiest Woman and for the Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards 2009. Coleman received an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman will replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat picked her to play the role because she is the most successful when working with Smith and spoke more quickly than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the world of entertainment since 1987. But, she's more known for TV projects than movies. Eva was in a number of characters on TV, however two stand out: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas for CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and allowed her to express her creative side through music. Apart from being an actor Eva is also a philanthropist as well as an entrepreneurial. Her third husband is father of her daughter.
