Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her works. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. While working as a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in she received recognition and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. The actress has appeared in a variety of different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
